december 8, 2011: Distracted Driving

with less shows than I've had in years this holiday/Christmas party - I'm savouring each one. I crave comedy. I get antsy and grumpy and can't wait to get on the road. What do I do for 11 hours on the road.  I listen to music. Dream. nostalgic. misty. sometimes I pull over and cry. I drink coffee from gas stations. and tell the gents on coffee row where I'm going. get to share a meal and say quick hello's to family and friends. And I eat scotch mints. sing my heart out.

Feels more like getting a chance to meet folks. where they are. with them.  more and more connecting. laughs. more heart. softer. together. i miss Saskatchewan. I miss you.
